The article discusses how agents can appear in the search results of the find an agent portal and how to update their directory information
To appear in the search results of the Find an Agent portal, Agents must first complete their onboarding and have an approved Agent profile on the app.
Search results are sorted based on the suburbs of previously listed negotiations and the areas of service specified in their Agent Profile.
When users search by Agent name, Agency or Location; agents who have listed more properties in a particular area or are an Openn Master will rank higher in search results.
Update your directory profile
- Go to Settings and My Profile
- Select the Agent tab. If this is not visible to you and it should be, contact Openn Support on support@openn.com
- Update your bio
- Select which statistics you want visible on your profile
- Summarise your market and include areas of service
When entering areas of service, it is best to consider how potential sellers and buyers will search for Agents and properties, ie, Claremont, Western Australia as opposed to Perth, Western Australia.
