Openn's Offer Comparison tool lets agents review and compare all offers on a property in a single, side-by-side view, and generate a separate, de-identified version to share with vendors — including those who are interstate or overseas.
ACCESSING THE OFFER COMPARISON REPORT
- Navigate to the property dashboard.
- Locate the Report section in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Click the Offer Comparison call to action to open the report.
AGENT VIEW
- The default view is the Agent View, which displays all offer information submitted by buyers in a side-by-side layout, so you can compare offers across all terms at a glance.
- Simplify the view by toggling off fields you don't need (e.g. buyer email, phone, or loan requirement details).
- Hide individual buyers from the view — for example, to focus on the top three offers.
SELLER VIEW
- Switch to the Seller View to see the version intended for the vendor.
- This view is automatically de-identified: personally identifiable information (buyer names and contact details) is removed by default before anything is shared.
- Customise it further by toggling off specific questions (e.g. lead-generation questions not relevant to the vendor's decision), and hide individual buyers if needed.
PUBLISHING AND SHARING WITH THE VENDOR
- Click Publish to generate a snapshot of the current offers at that point in time. Note: the report does not update automatically for the vendor — it only updates when you click Publish again.
- Once published, click Share to copy a link or send it directly through Openn. The vendor can then access the de-identified offer comparison from their end.
WHEN THIS IS PARTICULARLY USEFUL
- When the vendor is interstate or overseas and cannot be present in person.
- When you want a clear reference document to refer to during a conversation with the vendor about each offer's terms and which option best suits them.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Q: Where do I find the Offer Comparison report? A: On the property dashboard, in the Report section in the bottom right-hand corner.
Q: Can I control what information the vendor sees? A: Yes. The seller view is de-identified by default, and you can hide specific questions or individual buyers before publishing.
Q: Does the vendor's view update automatically as new offers come in? A: No. It's a snapshot that only updates when you click Publish, so you control exactly when and what the vendor sees.
Q: How do I send the report to my vendor? A: After clicking Publish, use Share to copy a link or send it directly through Openn.
Q: Is this useful if my vendor isn't local? A: Yes — it gives both agent and vendor a shared reference point when discussing offers remotely.
