This guide walks agents through manually adding and launching a property listing on Openn when no CRM integration is in use — entering property details, uploading photos and documents, configuring the offer form, and setting up campaign settings before going live.
NAVIGATING TO THE PROPERTIES TAB
- Log in to Openn — you land on the Properties tab by default. If you're elsewhere (Dashboard, Contracts, Search), click the Properties tab in the top left (second tab from the left).
- Click Add Property in the top right corner.
- Select your sales method: Auction, Private Treaty, or Tender. (The same steps apply to all methods.)
- Enter the street address and a headline for the listing (you can copy the headline from your CRM or another source).
- Add a property description and click Next.
- Enter general information such as bedrooms, bathrooms, parking, land size and house size. Note: buyers generally find properties through major sites like realestate.com.au or Domain rather than Openn directly, so this section doesn't need to be detailed.
ADDING SELLER DETAILS
- Click Add Seller and enter the seller's details.
- Optionally invite the seller to observe activity on their listing.
UPLOADING PHOTOS
- Click Add from Computer to open your file browser, or drag and drop images directly into the upload area.
UPLOADING DOCUMENTS
- Move to the Documents tab and upload files via drag-and-drop or the file browser.
- To make documents visible to buyers, select them, click Share, and set them to Public (anyone with the link can then access them).
ADDING LEGAL INFORMATION AND LISTING PRICE
- Enter any required legal information. The listing price field is not critical and doesn't need to be the focus.
ADDING TEAM MEMBERS
- Add any joint listing agents and admin staff who need access to the campaign.
REVIEWING THE OFFER FORM
- Your offer form is pre-configured as a template and populates automatically. Always review it before launching, and make any property-specific changes at this stage.
CONFIGURING CAMPAIGN SETTINGS (before launching)
- Price guide — e.g. offers over $1,000,000.
- Minimum offer increment — recommended $10,000 or $25,000, depending on the price point.
- Observers — turn on.
- Deadline — leave off to start.
- Transparency — turn all levels off to start.
LAUNCHING THE PROPERTY
- Click Save, then Launch.
- Once live, click Share in the top right to access property-specific QR codes and share links.
